Leslie Griffin

Leslie C. Griffin is the William S. Boyd Professor of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), and a leading national expert on constitutional law, law and religion, and bioethics. Holding both a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Yale University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School, she is a prolific author and commentator on First Amendment jurisprudence, ethics, and the constitutional boundaries of religious freedom. Professor Griffin is the author of Law and Religion: Cases and Materials, as well as a prominent voice advocating for civil rights in the legal system. Her B.A. in Theology is from the University of Notre Dame.
